Tim Dillon joined IDC Australia in March 2007. He is responsible for managing and coordinating the company’s Australian research teams and operations. As part of his role Tim focuses on working with Senior IT executives from Australia’s leading IT&T organisations across consulting projects, research and analysis areas such as; Telecoms, Software and Services. In addition, he will play a pivotal role in product enhancement for both Australia and AP research programs. Tim has 15 years of professional experience, out of which 14 years were dedicated to research. Having lived and worked both in Europe and Asia Pacific, Tim’s global perspective will certainly provide a broader view of technology trends as it impacts Australia.

Before taking up his role with IDC Australia, Tim spent over seven years with Current Analysis Inc where he held the position of Senior Research Director - Global Telecoms, based in a number of cities including; London, Amsterdam and Brisbane.

During his time with Current Analysis Tim was responsible for defining, developing and leading the company’s Pan-European Analysis coverage. He consulted to a number of leading global telecommunications service providers including Verizon Business, AT&T, BT, Cable & Wireless and Orange Business Services. In 2006 Tim was asked by the company to establish Analysis coverage in Asia, focusing on key markets including China and India. Tim has worked with Tier One and Two service providers, developing a clear understanding of the competitive issues facing service providers, vendors & enterprise customers across the region. Prior to joining Current Analysis Tim held the role of Research Manager at one of Europe’s leading competitive intelligence consulting groups. In this role, Tim was responsible for research and analysis of the IT and telecommunications industries as well as coordinating the group’s overall research and analysis. Graduated from the unversity of Tasmania in 1991 with a Bachelor of Economics.

David Cannon is responsible for the Next Generation Networks CIS program which includes the semi annual Fixed Line Tracker report/Forecast Assumptions and all terrestrial based voice and data telecommunications consulting. Mr. Cannon covers the market trends of traditional PSTN/PSDN and next generation IP services by service provider and market segment.

Mr. Cannon joined IDC in July 2006 and prior to this he was Group Product Development Manager for Australian Associated Press (AAP) where he developed and implemented several web-based media and messaging application services.

Mr. Cannon previously spent several years working for Australian Associated Press Telecommunications (AAPT) facilitating Operations Support and Wholesale Commercial roles and has followed the dynamic changes in the Telecommunications market from the time of deregulation.

Meyer Mussry is Green Packet’s VP of Sales and Marketing for Australia and New Zealand.

Meyer holds degrees in Electrical Engineering and Arts from the University of New South Wales. He spent 3 years working in military and aerospace industry in the USA as an Electronics Design and Development Engineer before returning to Australia to manage Honeywell’s manufacturing facility.

Meyer spent the last 23 years in the IT and Communications industries. His roles included sales, marketing and management with responsibility for Australia and New Zealand. Meyer’s experience includes wholesale and direct business models, and spans hardware and software solutions.

In 2006, in order to gain more detailed knowledge of wireless communications, Meyer completed a CWNA (Certified Wireless Network Administrator) course in Sydney. He was also involved with Broadband over Power Line (BPL) solutions since 2002.

Mr Dolan has over twenty-five years of experience in the Information Technology industry across Asia Pacific. He has extensive sales, marketing and technical experience in RDBMS, Application Development, Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence and Mobility technologies. Mr Dolan has worked in senior channels roles for the last ten years.
